Role overview
In this position, you will help secure product quality for solar modules and related components in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on inspection, testing, documentation, and close coordination with production to identify and resolve quality issues early.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out visual and functional quality checks on solar modules and components in line with test plans and technical specifications.
- Perform electrical test methods such as EL and IV inspections.
- Monitor laminating, wiring, and framing steps during production.
- Record, review, and interpret inspection results.
- Identify deviations and defects, report them, and track them through resolution.
- Place materials or finished products on hold or release them based on inspection outcomes.
- Support root-cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Take part in internal audits and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with production teams when quality concerns arise.
- Use, maintain, and care for testing tools and measuring equipment properly.
Candidate profile
- Completed technical vocational training.
- Prior experience in quality assurance, ideally in photovoltaic or electronics manufacturing.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and measurement methods, preferably with hands-on experience in solar module inspection.
- Confident use of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 9001.
- Independent, careful, and well-structured working style.
- Strong teamwork skills and a high level of quality awareness.
- Good German language skills in speaking and writing; basic English is an advantage.
