Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

About the role

Reef Holding is looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer to uphold product quality across its fragrance and cosmetics ranges. The position focuses on verifying standards, running testing activities, checking regulatory adherence, and partnering with internal teams and outside manufacturers to bring safe, high-performing products to market.

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end quality assurance and quality control activities for fragrance and cosmetic products.
• Inspect and test raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods.
• Make sure products meet local, GCC, and global cosmetic regulations and quality benchmarks.
• Track manufacturing operations to confirm consistency and compliance with specifications.
• Handle product stability, performance, and documentation related to quality.
• Review product concerns, defects, and customer complaints, then drive corrective actions.
• Work with product development, supply chain, and manufacturing partners to maintain product standards.
• Assist with supplier assessments, factory inspections, and audits when needed.
• Prepare quality-related reports and keep records aligned with regulatory and internal needs.
• Travel as required between factories, warehouses, and retail outlets within and outside Riyadh.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a similar discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in perfumes, cosmetics, or personal care manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and GMP requirements.
• Background in inspections, audits, and compliance activities; Lead Auditor exposure is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of GCC and international cosmetic/fragrance regulations.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Fluent professional communication in both Arabic and English.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Readiness to travel often based on business requirements.
