Role Overview
The Project Assistant will deliver essential administrative support to the project management group, assisting with construction or other specified projects, working under the guidance of Lead Administrators. This position operates fully remotely, with location specifics to be discussed at the interview stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange travel logistics for project personnel.
- Manage office or jobsite administrative duties if working onsite.
- Maintain and replenish office supply inventories as necessary.
- Organize and maintain a standardized filing system including safety documentation, daily construction logs, equipment records, insurance and bonding documents, commitment logs, and job files.
- Prepare and process purchasing related documentation such as purchase orders, subcontracts, rental agreements, and change orders.
- Track the status of signed and returned commitment documents.
- Review and code invoices to facilitate timely approvals.
- Monitor employee attendance through sign-in sheets and the Exaktime system.
- Support job close-out activities including archiving project plans and documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of business or secretarial education, or equivalent combined training and experience.
- At least two years of clerical or secretarial experience.
- Ability to type at a minimum speed of 45 words per minute with accuracy.
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
- Familiarity with general office procedures and operational use of office equipment.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English, maintaining professionalism over the phone.
- Effective written communication skills, including business correspondence.
- Dependability, reliability, and adaptability in the work environment.

Compensation
The hourly pay rate ranges from $23.78 to $29.72.
