Role overview
This role sits within Google’s gTech Ads Customer Experience team, which supports advertisers and sales teams by solving product-related issues and improving how customers use Google’s advertising solutions. The position is centered on customer support, troubleshooting, solution ownership, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Location preference
Applicants can indicate a preferred work location from either Gurugram, Haryana, India or Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
What you’ll do
- Deliver strong customer support across the full customer journey by working directly with advertisers, sales teams, agencies, and partners to resolve issues.
- Use product knowledge to handle technical problems, manage escalations, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Study data and insights to build corrective action plans, identify root causes, improve operations, strengthen knowledge management, support account reviews, and encourage product adoption.
- Work closely with Sales and other cross-functional teams to improve the customer experience, solve complex concerns, and understand pain points.
- Share findings and subject-matter expertise with partner teams to help improve products and internal processes while supporting a globally distributed team.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, program management, consulting, or a client-facing position.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours based on customer needs.
- Fluent English communication skills for supporting customers and stakeholders in the region.
Preferred qualifications
- Background with Google Ads or similar online advertising platforms, plus familiarity with the media landscape.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting or customer support with ownership of outcomes and solutions.
- Ability to work with business data, create dashboards, and turn analysis into recommendations.
- Experience influencing and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to build well-rounded customer-focused solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a collaborative environment.
