Job description
About GovTech
GovTech is Singapore’s lead public-sector technology agency, responsible for advancing Smart Nation programmes and digital transformation across government. As the Centre of Excellence for Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems (ICT & SS), it builds capabilities in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, application development, smart city technology, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
The organisation offers a mission-driven career with strong learning and development support throughout the year, giving employees the chance to build technology that serves the public good and improves everyday life in Singapore.
About the role
The Product Marketing Team acts as the link between engineering teams and end users. The focus is not just on product launches, but on driving adoption, building confidence, and ensuring digital services create meaningful outcomes for users. The role contributes to GovTech’s goal of delivering secure, seamless, and human-centred public services at scale.
Portfolio and impact
You will work across a broad set of products that shape Singapore’s digital experience, including Singpass, GovWallet, Ownself Gather, BookingSG, and Oobee. These products support identity, payouts, public-service case management, booking flows, and digital accessibility.
What you will do
You will lead product marketing work across a diverse portfolio, helping increase adoption, improve retention, and strengthen user engagement. The role involves planning campaigns, shaping go-to-market execution, studying user behaviour, and turning product insights into action. You will also work closely with multiple teams and guide PMMs through lifecycle marketing and stakeholder coordination.
You will be expected to analyse funnels, identify points of friction, measure return on investment, and run independent data deep-dives to support decisions. A major part of the job is translating complex technical work into clear, compelling narratives for policy stakeholders, product teams, and end users.
Experience and qualifications
This position calls for 4 to 6 years of experience in product marketing. Experience in marketing or product marketing for a technology company is important, and personal projects or practical work experience may be valued more than formal academic background.
Experience in enterprise SaaS is an advantage, especially where the work involves complex B2B or B2B2C product lifecycles, API-led platforms, and adoption growth. A strong understanding of product-led growth, lifecycle marketing, and user retention is especially relevant.
Skills and working style
You should bring strong go-to-market expertise, the ability to manage budgets effectively, and confidence working across product teams to scale adoption. Excellent analytical skills are needed to track performance, interpret engagement data, and validate marketing choices.
Strong writing and presentation ability is essential, along with the ability to simplify technical information into persuasive, value-driven messaging. You should also be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and balancing the needs of technical and non-technical audiences.
Why join GovTech
GovTech describes this work as an opportunity to help improve the lives of people in Singapore at national scale. The organisation states that it is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity, inclusion, and varied perspectives as part of innovation.
Employee rewards are structured around a total rewards approach and include leave benefits and wellness programmes. Flexible work arrangements are supported depending on the role, with trust placed in employees to manage their time and deliver strong outcomes.
Additional information
The role is based in Singapore and is a full-time, on-site position. No salary amount, number of openings, application deadline, or start date was provided in the source information.
