Role overview
This position is for a Product Designer who will own the design journey from early discovery through final delivery. The role focuses on creating polished, customer-centered features that combine strong visual execution with thoughtful product thinking. The company is open to supporting relocation to Spain, the UAE, or the UK. After relocation, the role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setup from Barcelona, Madrid, Dubai, or London.
What you'll do
- Work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Scientists, and other partners to clarify customer needs and business goals.
- Define the measures that matter for each initiative and take responsibility for helping the work meet those targets.
- Carry out research and surface new insights that support broader goals such as entering new markets or launching new capabilities.
- Create intuitive solutions that handle complexity well, from early wireframes through complete user flows and prototypes.
- Facilitate informal user testing and customer workshops to validate ideas.
- Collaborate with the technology team to bring designs into production and present decisions during design reviews.
- Track how releases perform, learn from the results, and identify improvements for future iterations.
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of in-house experience designing commercial applications at a high standard.
- A portfolio that demonstrates product design work.
- Strong design capability across iOS, Android, and web experiences.
- The ability to think strategically about products and clearly explain design choices.
- Awareness of how technical constraints affect design decisions.
- Confidence working independently and owning the design process end to end.
- A strong focus on user experience and customer behavior.
- Well-developed visual design taste.
- Good command of typography and grid systems.
- A practical, problem-solving mindset.
Nice to have
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical subject.
- Exposure to programming and the ability to build simple prototypes.
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems across platforms.
- Background in fast-moving startup environments.
