Role overview
This position sits within Revolut’s Business Development function, which focuses on expanding reach, creating new revenue opportunities, and building strategic partnerships. The role is centered on developing financial partnerships for card payments and related services.
The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of identifying, securing, and growing high-value partnerships that support customer acquisition, product usage, and revenue growth.
What you'll do
- Own and develop important relationships with complex financial organisations, including payment card schemes, in a proactive and independent way.
- Serve as the main internal coordinator and external representative for these partnerships.
- Carry out detailed research and analysis on market movements, competitors, customer behaviour, and Revolut’s market position to generate insights and support product direction.
- Spot opportunities to expand payment-related revenue.
- Identify ways to improve payment services, pricing structures, and cost efficiency.
- Build business cases and lead growth and P&L optimisation initiatives.
- Work closely with Product, Operations, Legal, Finance, and other teams to help deliver new product strategies and support continued growth.
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services, banking, or payment card schemes.
- Strong programme management skills with the ability to drive projects from start to finish.
- A data-led, analytical approach to solving problems.
- A self-starter mindset and willingness to push change forward.
- Strong communication skills for working with international stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of P&L and the ability to break down the drivers behind performance.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
Nice to have
Background in card payments, including acquiring and issuing services, partner ecosystems, and market dynamics.
