The organization is seeking a Procurement Specialist with a strong background in large construction and infrastructure work. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in project procurement, particularly contract negotiations involving steel structures and/or steel raw materials. This position will contribute to the growth of InfaSols EMEA by keeping procurement activities aligned with project timelines and budget requirements.

This is an onsite role that may be based in Letterkenny or Burnfoot, County Donegal.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full procurement cycle for major construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Handle negotiations for key materials and service contracts.
  • Work closely with project managers and engineering teams so purchasing plans match project requirements.
  • Source, assess, and qualify suppliers to support quality, dependability, and cost control.
  • Make sure procurement work follows company policies and applicable industry rules.
  • Track market movement and supplier delivery/performance to secure the most favorable project value.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an established track record in Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 3 years of procurement experience on large construction or infrastructure assignments.
  • Strong negotiation ability and a proven history of managing contracts successfully.
  • Solid understanding of costing principles.
  • Exposure to project cost management.
  • Knowledge of international standards.
  • Understanding of global supply base dynamics.
  • Experience with steel construction and/or steel raw materials procurement.
  • Good communication skills and strong project management capability.
