Procurement Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview

The Procurement Quantity Surveyor plays a vital role in supporting procurement and commercial functions by preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), assessing supplier and subcontractor bids, and administering contracts to achieve cost-efficient procurement in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and examine BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost projections.
• Identify, assess, and negotiate with potential suppliers and subcontractors.
• Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate quotations received, and advise on contract awards.
• Assist with tendering processes, procurement operations, and contract management.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and payment requests related to projects.
• Track project expenditures continuously and seek opportunities to reduce costs.
• Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Project Management, Estimation, and Finance departments.
• Maintain thorough records of procurement transactions and commercial documents.
• Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies and contract obligations.
