Opportunity Overview
The PlanSmart Data Analyst plays a pivotal role supporting a designated book of business by validating and transforming data, managing workflows to ensure regulatory compliance around conversion and portability notifications for group customers. This role is essential for enabling timely, accurate participant outreach through consolidating and clarifying data from multiple sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily operational tasks including processing, managing inbox traffic, performing file audits, data reconciliation, and executing end-of-day protocols.
- Evaluate incoming files to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and update file configuration documents to onboard and integrate new customers effectively.
- Produce reporting outputs that initiate outreach actions for PlanSmart Specialists.
- Detect operational inefficiencies and spearhead continuous improvements to systems, processes, and workflows ensuring scalability.
- Act as a workflow Subject Matter Expert by collaborating with internal teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Experience in roles involving data analysis, processing, or operational reporting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, lookups, and data manipulation techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets with great precision and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities combined with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
- Comfortable operating multiple systems, tools, and databases concurrently.
- Skilled in critical thinking to assess data, gauge impacts, and make decisions that optimize workflows.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preferred: Experience handling large datasets and automating workflows using tools like Power Automate or reporting software.
- Preferred: Background in operational or process improvement initiatives.
- Preferred: Project coordination capabilities to manage timelines and deliverables efficiently.
- Preferred: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey data insights clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week onsite in Charlotte, NC.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range is $54,100 to $72,100 annually. This role may also qualify for annual short-term incentive bonuses and stock-based long-term incentives, subject to plan terms.
