About the Role
Disney Experiences in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is seeking a Photographer to support conventions and special events across the property. This position sits within Disney Fine Arts Photography and reports to the Photography Manager. The role is centered on capturing memorable visual content that supports the company’s storytelling mission and guest experience.
This is a casual temporary or seasonal opportunity. Weekly hours are not fixed and will vary depending on business demand.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare on-site studio setups and photograph sessions at event locations.
- Manage print-on-site photo sessions.
- Capture large group photographs of up to 300 people, then organize and prepare the images for editing, including both group and individual shots.
- Set up photography risers and identify the best shooting locations.
- Run green screen shoots, blend in backgrounds, and handle virtual background sessions.
- Photograph character interactions.
- Work alongside senior photographers to ensure complete event coverage.
- Act as second shooter for large weddings.
- Independently photograph smaller weddings as the main contact.
- Lead portrait sessions.
- Create product and promotional photography in a studio environment.
- Produce creative imagery that aligns with event and business needs.
What We’re Looking For
Candidates should understand how photography production works in a business setting and be comfortable using digital photography tools and workflows. Familiarity with Sony cameras, professional lighting gear, and Mac computers is important. The role also calls for strong technical knowledge of lighting for very large groups, as well as posing individuals and smaller groups. You should know when to use a second light as fill flash or as a key light, and be proficient with Photoshop and Lightroom. A solid grasp of composition and the exposure triangle is expected, along with prior experience photographing events or conventions.

Availability is required for weekends, rotating schedules, and holidays. Hours may fluctuate from week to week based on operational needs.
Compensation and Benefits
The hiring range for this role in Orlando, Florida is $20.10 to $25.15 per hour. Actual pay may differ based on internal equity, the candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills, and overall experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may also be included. Full medical, financial, and other benefits may be available depending on the level and position offered.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in Photography is preferred.
