Job description
Role Overview
This full-time Pharmacy Dispenser position is with The Channel Island Co-operative and is based at various locations. The role calls for someone who is motivated, dependable, and keen to build a meaningful career while supporting customers and the wider pharmacy team.
What the Role Involves
You will work alongside the Pharmacist Manager and Pharmacist to help ensure pharmacy operations meet the required professional standards, rules, and regulatory expectations.
Key Duties
- Support the day-to-day running of the dispensary and pharmacy shop.
- Provide high-quality customer service and dispense medicines, appliances, and other medical devices in line with the Code of Ethics.
- Place orders for pharmaceutical, medical, and drug supplies, while keeping stock organised and stored appropriately.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including pharmacy files, patient medicine records, and controlled drug registers.
- Follow legal compliance requirements and due diligence standards, including General Pharmaceutical Council rules and health and safety procedures.
- Represent and work in line with the Society’s aims, values, and Management Charter.
