About The Role
As a People Partner for Google Workspace, you will collaborate with senior leaders to drive the transformation towards an AI-first organization. Your focus will be aligning talent strategy and organizational design to excel within the collaboration and productivity software domain. Google Workspace forms a suite of productivity tools including Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Meet, and more, designed to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to vice presidents and executive leadership, providing expert guidance on organizational and people strategies.
- Leverage expertise in organizational effectiveness, talent management, performance management, change management, and leadership coaching.
- Analyze complex issues using data-driven insights to uncover root causes and develop effective solutions rapidly.
- Collaborate closely with leaders to design and execute comprehensive people plans driving significant change initiatives for large departments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 12 years in HR business partnering or HR generalist roles, supporting VP-level leaders in technology and non-technology sectors within global organizations.
- Proven background in organizational effectiveness including workforce planning and organizational structure design.
- Preferred experience in organizational design, succession planning, performance management, business consulting, compensation and rewards systems, recognition schemes, culture preservation, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, recruitment, data analysis, and employee relations.
- Skilled in leading organizational change and managing stakeholder relationships at various leadership levels.
- Experience as a management consultant working with external clients is advantageous.
