Job Overview
We are looking for a caring and experienced Pediatric Physiotherapist to support our client’s team in Fujairah, UAE. This position focuses on helping infants, children, and teenagers with physical, developmental, and mobility-related concerns. You will assess each child’s condition, design tailored treatment plans, and work alongside families and a multidisciplinary care team to improve function, confidence, and overall quality of life.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate pediatric patients thoroughly, considering physical function, medical background, and developmental stage.
- Develop and carry out individualized therapy programs aligned with each child’s needs and goals.
- Use therapeutic activities, exercises, and interventions to strengthen mobility, balance, coordination, and physical endurance.
- Support children in practicing day-to-day tasks that encourage greater independence.
- Apply age-appropriate therapeutic equipment and assistive tools when required.
- Guide parents and caregivers on home exercises and practical techniques to support progress outside therapy sessions.
- Keep clear, accurate, and current records of assessments, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
- Coordinate closely with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure well-rounded care.
- Stay informed about current pediatric physiotherapy practices through ongoing learning and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, or a closely related discipline.
- Valid professional license to practice physiotherapy, with pediatric specialization.
- Hands-on experience delivering physiotherapy care to children or adolescents.
- Strong understanding of pediatric assessment methods, treatment approaches, and therapy techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with children, families, and clinical teams.
- Ability to build a reassuring, engaging, and encouraging therapy environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability for handling complex pediatric cases.
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation habits.
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
