Role overview
The Payments Manager is responsible for overseeing payment request handling, carrying out spot checks and other verification steps, and ensuring that manual and automated payments are processed and released accurately. The role also involves managing more complex payment-related queries when needed.
Qualifications
A first degree is required, preferably in Business Commerce or an equivalent field.
Experience
The position calls for 3 to 4 years of experience in payments and operations, along with practical exposure to the systems and platforms used in a payments environment. A working knowledge of exchange control regulations, related requirements, and reporting is also needed. Prior experience in a similar role is expected.
