Job description
Role overview
This position is responsible for shaping and executing a broad open-market life insurance product portfolio. The role also owns the creation and rollout of a product management framework that supports the full product lifecycle, with the aim of meeting agreed targets for revenue, sales, and profitability.
In addition, the role focuses on identifying and driving growth opportunities through new markets, distribution channels, and product lines, while supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives and improving market share and revenue performance.
Qualifications
A postgraduate qualification is required, ideally in Actuarial Science.
An Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification is also required.
Experience
The role calls for 8 to 10 years of experience in actuarial work.
Applicants should have a solid understanding of the full financial services value chain, along with hands-on technical underwriting experience. Prior exposure to insurance and product development in the intermediated retail long-term insurance space is essential.
