Role overview

Independent Reserve Singapore is hiring an experienced Payment Sales Manager to drive the launch of its spend management and cross-border payments offering. This role is centered on building revenue, shaping the go-to-market motion, and helping establish the payments function from the ground up.

What you will do

  • Generate revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing corporate and SME customers who need cross-border payment solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales journey, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing account handling.
  • Develop a strong business network by engaging with industry events, trade bodies, and professional communities to source qualified opportunities.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to create sales collateral, collect market insights, and contribute to product direction.
  • Represent the company at conferences and networking events to strengthen market visibility and build relationships.
  • Help define sales processes as an early member of the payments team, with room to grow into a leadership role as the business expands.

Profile and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • 5 to 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated history of consistently outperforming revenue goals.
  • Solid knowledge of cross-border payments, FX products, or corporate treasury requirements.
  • An established network across Singapore’s corporate or SME ecosystem.
  • A self-driven approach and comfort operating in fast-moving, less structured environments.
