Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator for our West Lakes of Boca Raton, FL office. This role is crucial for managing all front office operations and providing essential support to patients, healthcare providers, and the administrative team. While prior experience is not strictly required, we are looking for candidates with a genuine interest in healthcare, proven teamwork capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and schedule flexibility.
Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring 30+ hours per week. The schedule operates Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays, during business hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Flexibility to support the team and cover shifts as needed is essential.
Patient Coordinator Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage all incoming phone calls, appointment scheduling, and online inquiries, ensuring a positive and professional caller experience.
- Cultivate a welcoming and professional office atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care provided to patients and their respective providers.
- Proactively understand the patient-provider workflow to anticipate needs and facilitate smooth transitions.
- Undertake inventory management and stocking of office supplies and equipment as directed.
- Participate in all mandatory in-house training sessions and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience is advantageous.
- Experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and patient scheduling systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Strong patient relations and customer service skills.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and dedication.
- Prior experience in a dermatology or medical setting is preferred.
- Must possess open availability to work during weekdays and weekends as required.
