Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator for our Delray Beach office. This role is responsible for managing all front office operations and providing essential support to patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a prerequisite for this position.
Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring 30+ hours per week. The schedule includes availability Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays, within operating hours of 7 am to 7 pm. Flexibility to support the team and cover shifts as needed is essential.
Patient Coordinator/Medical Receptionist Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage all incoming phone calls, appointment scheduling, and online inquiries, ensuring a positive and knowledgeable experience for every caller.
- Cultivate a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care provided to patients and their respective providers.
- Proactively understand the provider-to-patient workflow and anticipate the needs of the provider.
- Conduct inventory management and ensure adequate stocking of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Participate in all internal training sessions and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is mandatory.
- Experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and patient scheduling systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities are necessary.
- Excellent patient relations and customer service skills are essential.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and dedication.
- Prior experience in a dermatology or medical office environment is preferred.
- Must possess open availability to work during weekdays and weekends as required.
