About the Role
Acorn Kia Business is looking for a well-organized and customer-focused Parts Advisor to support our operations at the Nakuru location. This role involves assisting customers in selecting and purchasing appropriate vehicle parts while ensuring high levels of satisfaction and supporting our dealership’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers through face-to-face interactions, telephone calls, or emails regarding parts inquiries.
- Accurately identify the required vehicle parts based on customer descriptions or vehicle identification numbers (VIN).
- Provide customers with precise price quotations and information about parts availability.
- Manage parts ordering processes and coordinate prompt delivery or pickup arrangements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records while monitoring stock levels.
- Work alongside the service department to meet parts requirements for vehicle repairs.
- Address and resolve any customer issues or concerns related to parts orders or stock availability.
- Deliver excellent customer service and cultivate strong relationships with customers.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a comparable role as a Parts Advisor or in an automotive parts environment is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is advantageous.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with effective prioritization skills.
- Competency in computer applications and software, including Microsoft Excel.
- Desirable knowledge of automotive parts and their uses.
- Understanding of phone etiquette and customer service standards.
