Role overview
This role is posted for a partner organization that handles the application review and next stages directly. They are seeking a Partnerships Manager in the United States for a high-impact, revenue-focused position within a fast-moving remote-first setup.
The position centers on creating and growing strategic partnerships that can reliably drive business expansion. You will oversee the full partner journey, from finding and qualifying prospects to closing agreements and launching long-term collaborations. The role calls for a mix of commercial judgment, disciplined execution, and an entrepreneurial approach to turn partnerships into a repeatable growth channel.
You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product to make sure partner programs are implemented smoothly. With a high level of autonomy, you will also build scalable processes that convert partnership activity into measurable pipeline and revenue.
Key accountabilities
- Lead the entire partnership process, including prospecting, outreach, qualification, contract negotiation, onboarding, and activation of strategic ecosystem partners.
- Design and run partner growth plans that deliver dependable pipeline creation and clear revenue impact.
- Oversee active partner relationships through regular performance reviews, improvement cycles, and joint planning sessions.
- Support day-to-day execution by managing lead handoffs, feedback mechanisms, and coordination with internal Account Executive teams.
- Set partnership KPIs and monitor results such as pipeline contribution, conversion performance, and lead quality.
- Keep CRM records accurate and maintain forecasting discipline while using data to improve partner outcomes.
- Work across teams to develop repeatable partnership workflows and go-to-market practices that can scale.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in partnerships, strategic alliances, channel development, or business development, ideally in e-commerce or fintech.
- Demonstrated ability to manage partnerships from initial outreach through to revenue delivery.
- Strong negotiation capabilities, including experience with commercial terms and joint go-to-market arrangements.
- Comfort working with data and CRM tools such as Salesforce for pipeline tracking and forecasting.
- Clear and effective communication skills, especially in remote and cross-functional settings.
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial working style suited to a high-ownership, fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills with the ability to manage several workstreams while meeting business goals.
