Job description
Job Overview
This role involves managing freight within warehouse facilities, including loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting packages. The position requires physical capability to handle heavy packages and adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
Key Duties
- Loading and unloading freight efficiently within the warehouse.
- Scanning and sorting packages to ensure accurate processing.
- Operating in a Windows PC environment and completing all required training and certifications.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred completion of High School Diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada processes and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Capability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs with proper equipment.
- Successful completion of mandatory and recurrent training assessments.
Work Schedule
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Additional Information
- If located in Quebec province, bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
- Applicants for roles involving driving must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; however, this specific position is non-driving focused.
