About ScaleOps
ScaleOps is building autonomous cloud and AI infrastructure management for engineering teams that want to spend less time on manual resource allocation and more time shipping products. The company is recognized as a leader in Autonomous Cloud and AI Infrastructure Resource Management and supports enterprise customers such as Adobe, Wiz, DocuSign, Coupa, and Fortune 100 organizations. Its platform helps teams improve performance while reducing cloud costs by up to 80%.
Supported by investors including Insight Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with more than $210M raised, ScaleOps is developing the infrastructure management layer expected to support enterprise compute over the coming decade.
The Role
ScaleOps is hiring a driven, people-focused Operations Manager to oversee and grow US operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys startup pace, building structure from ambiguity, and enabling teams to work effectively.
What You'll Own
- Managing US HR operations from start to finish, including onboarding, exit processes, benefits administration, and employee experience.
- Coordinating payroll and maintaining compliance-related documentation for employees in the United States.
- Handling relationships with vendors and partners to keep operations running smoothly.
- Planning internal events and culture initiatives that help the US team stay connected with the wider organization.
- Creating, improving, and rolling out processes as the business expands by spotting gaps and implementing practical solutions.
- Serving as the main point of contact for US employees on HR, finance, and operational matters.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in operations, people operations, or administrative work, with startup experience preferred.
- A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys making systems work better.
- Strong organization skills and close attention to detail, while keeping the broader business context in mind.
- Friendly, upbeat communication style that helps people enjoy collaborating with you.
- Ability to manage several parallel priorities across HR, finance, and general operations.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to draft both formal policies and everyday workplace messages thoughtfully.
- Comfort working autonomously in a remote setup and coordinating across different time zones.
- Availability to provide executive support during US visits, including coordinating travel, lodging, meals, and schedules for leadership traveling from headquarters; this requires being on-site and available during those visits.
Additional Information
This role is based in New York, NY and is structured as a full-time remote position. The job emphasizes cross-functional ownership across HR, finance, vendor coordination, culture, and process improvement. No salary, benefits, or application deadline were specified in the source.
