Job description
Company Overview
Bilibili is a leading video community for younger audiences in China. Founded in 2009, it began as a niche community for animation, comics, and games, and has grown into a broad video platform covering areas such as lifestyle, knowledge, technology, and fashion. Known for its distinctive “danmu” interactive culture, the platform has built a highly engaged and loyal user base that consumes content and interacts deeply with creators and other users.
As part of its global expansion strategy, Bilibili is excited to establish a new office in Singapore. This office will serve as an important hub for Southeast Asia, helping the company connect more effectively with local users, creators, and partners. The goal is to bring Bilibili’s vibrant content ecosystem to the region while also supporting local creative talent and cultural exchange.
Role Summary
The company is building its Singapore office from the ground up and is looking for a senior office management professional to take ownership of end-to-end administrative setup and day-to-day operations, while also providing focused HR operations support. This role is a key founding-team position: you will help establish office operating systems, work closely with cross-functional teams in China and globally, and lay the foundation for sustainable growth in Singapore. In effect, you will act as a full-cycle coordinator for the office.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead the creation and ongoing management of the Singapore office, handling core administrative processes from setup to daily execution. This includes tracking action items, welcoming visitors, supporting local executive needs, and building practical office SOPs. You will also oversee budget and expense administration, invoice checks, and reimbursement reviews.
On the HR operations side, you will support onboarding and offboarding, maintain employee records, update HR systems, and help organize attendance and payroll-related data. You will also assist with employee engagement activities and the rollout of HR policies.
In addition, you will partner with teams across China and other global locations to support business projects with administrative and HR assistance, and you will take on other tasks assigned by management as needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or higher and brings at least 5 years of experience in administration and HR operations. Hands-on experience building an office from scratch is mandatory. Backgrounds in startups or multinational companies are preferred.
Strong English and Mandarin communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential for cross-regional collaboration. You should be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable solving problems independently in a fast-moving, pioneering environment. A detail-oriented, results-driven, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership is important, along with a willingness to be hands-on.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic HR tools is required. Familiarity with Singapore labor laws, regulations, and local compliance expectations is also needed.
What You Can Expect
This is a chance to join as a foundational member and help shape Bilibili’s Singapore office from day one, with significant autonomy and room for professional growth. You will have the flexibility to build and improve office processes and culture from the ground up.
The role offers the opportunity to work in an energetic, inclusive international team and collaborate with colleagues across China and global functions on worldwide business initiatives. It also provides meaningful exposure to regional operations and long-term career development.
The team values innovation, initiative, collaboration, and a supportive working culture.
