Job description
Position Summary
This role supports pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment operations by developing and managing operational performance indicators, generating reports, analyzing data trends, and ensuring secure handling of patient and operational information in line with HIPAA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, verify, and upkeep operational metrics derived from pharmacy dispensing and platform data.
- Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports for various internal stakeholders within covered entities.
- Utilize SQL and Excel to analyze operational data, uncover trends, assist in problem resolution, and document key performance indicators.
- Guarantee data integrity, accessibility, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and data governance policies.
- Collaborate on cross-departmental reporting, automation initiatives, and pharmacy dispensing data projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong command of SQL, Excel, and at least one statistical programming language such as Python or R.
- Prior exposure to healthcare, pharmacy, or claims and dispensing operational datasets.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in a HIPAA-regulated environment with handling of protected health information.
- Knowledgeable about HIPAA standards, data governance, difference between manufacturer and covered-entity data; experience with analytic dashboards is an advantage.
Additional Information
This is a 17-month contract position based in Indianapolis, IN, requiring a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite weekly. Compensation ranges from $59.69 to $70.22 per hour, dependent on candidate qualifications. The workweek consists of 40 hours.
