Job description
Role overview
The Operations Strategy & Planning group supports TikTok’s Content Operations by improving scale, standardisation, execution quality, and cost efficiency. In this position, you will shape the operating model, strengthen process excellence, manage capacity planning, and lead OKR governance so the organisation can meet content-growth priorities while preserving accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
You will work closely with Content Verticals, Regional Operations, PGC Product, Engineering, Data Science, and other cross-functional teams to make operations more data-led, future-ready, and continuously improving.
Key responsibilities
- Design and lead the long-term strategy for operational efficiency across EMEA Content Operations.
- Create and improve scalable operating models that can handle growth in content volume, market reach, and policy complexity.
- Evaluate trade-offs between quality, speed, cost, and risk using data and business context.
- Own the full lifecycle of process design, optimisation, and documentation for moderation, appeals, escalations, and specialised workflows.
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence techniques to cut waste, reduce rework, and improve turnaround time.
- Drive continuous improvement programs that deliver measurable gains in efficiency and quality.
- Build and maintain regional capacity plans, forecasts, and workload models.
- Contribute to budgeting and ROI analysis with practical insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate the annual and quarterly OKR planning and reporting cycle from planning through operationalisation.
- Define, monitor, and improve key efficiency metrics such as cost per decision, handle time, and automation rate.
Qualifications
The role calls for at least 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, business analytics, operations analysis, or a closely related area. You should bring strong analytical and problem-solving ability, along with practical experience in data analysis and presentation tools such as Excel and SQL. A structured working style is important, with the ability to think strategically while still paying close attention to detail.
Additional strengths include a quick learning mindset, strong intellectual curiosity, and a genuine interest in creating business impact in a fast-moving environment. You should also have solid communication and stakeholder management skills, plus a track record of driving projects and delivering results.
