About the team

The Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization drives revenue growth for TikTok. It brings together teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Account Management, Agency and Partnerships, and Marketing Science. The group is fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and highly ambitious.

Role overview

In this role, you will work as a strategic thought partner and operational lead for the General Manager, helping free up time for external growth priorities and internal leadership. You will guide strategic planning, perform deep analytical work to solve business issues, and lead cross-functional initiatives that create measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

You will own planning cycles, business analysis, leadership reporting, and project coordination for the SEA region.

  • Drive the yearly and quarterly planning process, including OKR definition, while working with cross-functional partners to review market movements and advertising data to identify expansion opportunities and strategic shifts for Southeast Asia.
  • Monitor business performance by examining detailed ads and marketing data to understand revenue patterns, client behavior, product uptake, and productivity gaps. Move beyond basic reporting to translate findings into practical recommendations for the GM. Run the operating cadence across WBR, MBR, and QBR forums and prepare strong narratives for regional and global leaders.
  • Lead high-priority initiatives by connecting the GBS SEA team with internal stakeholders such as Industry Ops, Product, Marketing, Strategy & Operations, and Data teams, ensuring effective coordination and smooth delivery.

Qualifications

This position calls for strong analytical thinking, business judgment, and executive communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science, or in Business; alternatively, equivalent professional experience is acceptable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
  • Solid business analysis capability with a practical, hands-on approach to working with data.
  • Ability to break down complex business challenges into structured frameworks and propose logical, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with a demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into clear, concise, and persuasive communication for senior executives.

Preferred experience

  • Background in Ads or Technology is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to digital advertising, including knowledge of digital media ecosystems and ad solutions.
  • Ability to work with complex datasets using tools such as Tableau, Think-Cell, and Excel to uncover insights and solve ambiguous problems.
  • Success in high-pressure, ambiguous environments, with a proactive mindset, fast learning ability, and strong ownership.
