As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada, you will gain valuable experience in the retail sector. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and assemble orders from areas with varied temperature requirements, focusing on quality to guarantee timely delivery to customers.
- Pack orders meticulously, distinguishing between similar products, verifying quantities, and ensuring correct product coding.
- Maintain high product quality standards by avoiding damaged goods and selecting the freshest items.
- Accurately document and label orders using pick slips, packaging instructions, and shipping labels.
- Optimize packing by filling totes compactly without compromising product quality.
- Manage fulfillment duties alongside customer engagement, resolving any issues that arise.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and food hygiene practices, including maintaining cleanliness, promptly cleaning spills and debris, and ensuring packing totes are clean before use.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, conducting pre-use inspections as required.
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Walmart's mission and core values.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by proposing enhancements in procedures, productivity, satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards.
- Exhibit flexibility in adjusting assignments based on customer demands and daily delivery targets.
Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.
