Job Responsibilities

• Monitor clients’ infrastructure and solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Detect and identify issues or errors before or as they occur.
• Recognize recurring incidents and implement preventative measures to minimize their impact.
• Analyze and resolve first-line incidents by determining root causes.
• Execute approved service requests following established protocols.
• Provide assistance to clients via telephone or chat support when necessary.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as patching and configuration updates.
• Ensure smooth service continuity during shift handovers by following proper procedures.
• Report and escalate incidents appropriately to higher levels.
• Secure effective and comprehensive incident and request resolutions.
• Identify and suggest opportunities to optimize work processes and automation.
• Create or update knowledge base articles to document solutions and workflows.
• Support project activities and disaster recovery implementations when required.
• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewall, routing and switching, wireless networking, and SDWAN technologies.
• Familiarity with Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Juniper Virtual, Palo Alto, Cisco Nexus switches, ASR and ISR routers.
• Experience with Cisco ACS, ISE, Meraki switches and access points.
• Understanding of enterprise network architecture and common routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Knowledge of network address translation and ISP uplink monitoring/troubleshooting for DIA, MPLS, and point-to-point circuits.
• Proficient with network management and monitoring tools like SecureCRT and LogicMonitor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or related fields, or relevant work experience.
• CCNA certification or equivalent.
• Additional certifications related to network and data center services are advantageous.
• Entry-level experience or equivalent internship completion in networking or data center support.
• Basic understanding of management agents, redundancy concepts, and technologies across domains such as network, data center, telephony, exchange, storage, cloud, and backup.

Additional Information

• Candidates must have between 1 and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Only candidates available for in-person interviews in Bangalore and able to work onsite in Bangalore will be considered.
