Merchandiser - Newcastle

Role overview

This is a full-time, permanent field merchandising role covering the Newcastle area in Somersby, New South Wales, Australia. The position focuses on making the brand visible in stores, keeping displays strong, and helping drive sales through excellent in-store execution. You will look after a defined territory, visit a set group of customers each day, and may be able to work a 4-day week.

Key responsibilities

• Create attractive product displays that improve shelf impact and increase brand visibility.
• Restock products, keep presentations tidy and consistent, and implement planograms accurately.
• Run in-store promotional setups and activations that support campaigns and offers.
• Work with store staff, resolve stock-related issues, and uphold brand presentation standards.
• Submit accurate reports and represent the company professionally at all customer locations.

About you

The ideal candidate is reliable, arrives on time, and can work on their own with limited supervision. You should be comfortable travelling within your territory and managing your schedule to meet service expectations.

Requirements

• Ability to handle product cases for up to 8 hours a day, with individual cases weighing as much as 16 kg.
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned area.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in high-quality presentation.
• Professional appearance and confidence when representing the brand on customer sites.
• Good time management and the ability to complete scheduled visits on time.
• Previous experience in merchandising, retail, field operations, or a similar role is an advantage.
