Position overview

PENNY, part of the REWE Group, is looking for a market manager / store manager for its branch in Krumbach, Bavaria. The role is a full-time permanent position.

Your impact in the store

  • You will take full responsibility for the professional, disciplinary and organizational leadership of the store while also actively contributing to day-to-day operations.
  • You will support your team with guidance and hands-on help, lead by example, and prepare staffing schedules in line with company requirements.
  • You will make sure the branch stays well organized and delight customers with the freshness and quality of the products.
  • You will continuously monitor key figures and manage revenue, stocktaking and personnel costs.

What we are looking for

  • You have completed vocational training in retail, ideally supported by relevant professional experience. Career changers with leadership experience, for example from hotels or hospitality, are also welcome.
  • You are friendly toward customers, committed and dependable.
  • You enjoy taking initiative, working flexibly and moving forward together with your team.
  • You have the ability to lead people, motivate them and inspire them to perform their tasks.

Compensation is based on the collective agreement and includes holiday pay plus Christmas bonus from the second year onward.
