Job description
Role overview
This position is responsible for running the full warehouse operation for marketplace sellers. The role focuses on keeping inventory accurate, ensuring orders are fulfilled on time, and coordinating logistics so customers receive a fast and dependable service.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the complete flow of warehouse work, including inbound receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound dispatch, while meeting service-level targets.
- Maintain accurate seller stock records, carry out reconciliations, and work to keep inventory losses as low as possible.
- Improve order accuracy, lower fulfillment mistakes, and shorten turnaround time.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methods, and assist with warehouse automation tools such as WMS and handheld devices.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff while planning manpower effectively.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with procedures and SOPs.
- Work closely with marketplace, logistics, finance, and technology teams to keep operations running smoothly.
What you need
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Engineering.
- At least 5 to 7+ years of experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations, preferably in e-commerce.
- Practical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated experience leading teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
