Job description

About the Company

Martell Group is focused on building people, brands, and ventures that drive real impact. Through its four companies, it blends audience, operators, and execution to launch scalable products and support ambitious leaders working in Media, B2B SaaS, and AI.

The group was founded by entrepreneur and investor Dan Martell, known for backing companies such as Udemy, Intercom, and Unbounce. The organization emphasizes leadership, growth, and simplicity, and looks for people who reflect those same values.

Applicants are not limited to a single vacancy: once you apply, you may be evaluated for any relevant opening across the group’s companies.

About the Role

This position is for a self-directed and detail-focused Marketing Virtual Assistant who will help marketing and content teams with everyday operational, creative, and coordination work.

The role suits someone with exposure to marketing, content development, social media, or creative operations who enjoys keeping projects organized and moving. You will handle important support tasks that free up senior team members to concentrate on strategy and growth.

Success in this role calls for strong organization, comfort with technology, resourcefulness, and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment. You should be able to own tasks end to end, communicate clearly, and solve issues proactively with limited supervision.

Candidates based in Latin America and able to work North American business hours are preferred.

Compensation

The role pays a contractor rate of USD 2,000 per month.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing initiatives across several channels.
  • Keep project timelines, task lists, and marketing processes organized and up to date.
  • Prepare assets, documents, and other materials needed for campaign launches.
  • Maintain structured marketing folders, content repositories, and internal documentation.
  • Help publish content across social platforms and other digital channels.
  • Organize captions, thumbnails, content assets, and related supporting files.
  • Research market trends, competitor activity, and potential content ideas.
  • Collect and arrange information needed for campaigns and content production.
  • Handle recurring administrative and operational marketing tasks.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and project-related communication when needed.
  • Monitor deliverables, track deadlines, and help ensure work is completed on time.
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and process documentation.
  • Work with marketing, content, and leadership teams to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Take ownership of assigned work and look for ways to improve efficiency.
  • Support special projects and other ad hoc work as the business expands.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, administration, content work, or a virtual assistant capacity.
  • Strong skills in organization and time management.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to juggle several tasks and priorities at once.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote setup.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and commonly used productivity tools.
  • Preferred: experience in marketing, social media, content creation, or creative operations.
  • Preferred: familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com.
  • Preferred: exposure to Canva, social media channels, or basic content management systems.
  • Preferred: experience supporting marketing teams, creators, or digital-first businesses.
  • Preferred: availability during North American business hours.

Additional Information

This is a contractor arrangement rather than a traditional employee position.

The company describes itself with a “radical transparency” approach from the CEO, and the listing includes a section framed as reasons not to work there.
