Job description

Role overview

This opening is being shared for a partner organization that handles the application process and all next steps. The employer is seeking a Marketing Project Lead located in Canada.

This is a cross-functional role that combines marketing strategy, project coordination, and client partnership. You will act as the central connector between clients and internal teams, making sure strategy, delivery, and performance stay aligned with business goals. The position calls for both strategic judgment and hands-on execution, with ownership of marketing plans, KPI definition, and delivery across campaigns and content work.

You will work in a fast-moving, fully remote environment with a high degree of independence, where accountability and initiative are essential. In collaboration with clients and creative teams, you will turn business objectives into practical, organized marketing plans that produce measurable results.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and steer complete marketing strategies for assigned clients, including priority setting, roadmap creation, KPI definition, and execution planning tied to business objectives.
  • Serve as the main client contact, guiding strategic conversations, managing expectations, and sharing clear recommendations backed by data.
  • Coordinate delivery across several brands and campaigns, working with internal contributors and outside partners to keep work on schedule, high quality, and aligned.
  • Review initiative performance, monitor KPIs, and provide concise reports and actionable insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • Keep marketing activity moving smoothly by managing scope, addressing blockers, and ensuring accountability across everyone involved.
  • Convert client goals into structured, practical marketing plans that support measurable outcomes and business impact.
  • Help improve processes so work stays efficient, consistent, and easy to execute across active projects.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing management, project leadership, account management, or other client-facing marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape marketing strategies, set KPIs, and create execution roadmaps that support business goals.
  • Background in managing multiple client accounts or brands at the same time in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong client communication skills, with confidence leading discussions, influencing decisions, and building trust.
  • Practical experience with budgeting, reporting, and performance measurement for marketing work.
  • Comfort using tools such as Google Analytics, Figma, and AI-assisted productivity tools.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills, with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, results-oriented environment with limited supervision.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on your experience and expertise.
  • Flexible fully remote setup, with the ability to work from anywhere.
  • Substantial autonomy and decision-making responsibility.
  • A results-first culture with minimal bureaucracy and no micromanagement.
  • Ongoing learning and development support, including training and skill-building programs.
  • Paid holidays, vacation time, personal leave, and sick leave.
  • Opportunities to join team-building activities and industry events.
  • A collaborative, creative workplace centered on growth, accountability, and impact.

How the hiring process works

Applications are reviewed through an AI-supported matching process designed to assess candidates quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role’s core requirements. The system identifies the strongest matches, and that shortlist is then passed to the hiring company. Final decisions and next steps, including interviews and assessments, are handled by the employer’s internal team.

Privacy and data use

By applying, you acknowledge that your information may be processed to evaluate your candidacy and shared with the hiring employer. This processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection at any time.

Automated tools may also be used to support parts of the recruitment process, such as resume review, application analysis, response assessment, and detection of possible inconsistencies or verification signals in submitted materials. These tools assist the recruitment team but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring decisions are made by people. For more information about data handling, you may contact the employer or recruiting team.
