Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being presented for a partner organization that will handle applications and the next stages of the hiring process. The partner company is seeking a Senior Director, GSOC Practice in the United States.

This is a senior strategic position for an accomplished security operations leader who can help redefine modern Global Security Operations Centers across enterprise and public sector settings. The role blends operational depth with executive-level advisory work, supporting organizations as they improve security programs, make better intelligence-led decisions, and build stronger global resilience. You will work closely with senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and product teams to influence customer outcomes and future product direction. It is well suited to someone who enjoys a fast-moving SaaS environment, tackling complex operational problems, and advancing the future of global security operations.

Key accountabilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to senior security executives, advising them on how to modernize and improve GSOC programs.
  • Work with commercial teams to help shape enterprise opportunities by turning complex security operations challenges into scalable technology-based solutions.
  • Run customer advisory work such as operational reviews, best-practice sessions, maturity assessments, and long-range planning discussions.
  • Create and advocate for frameworks that support high-performing, intelligence-led GSOCs, including governance structures, operating processes, technology direction, and measurement metrics.
  • Support improvements in incident response, intelligence workflows, executive-level reporting, crisis response, and collaboration across international operations.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams by sharing recommendations on feature improvements, automation potential, workflow efficiencies, and evolving market needs.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, executive briefings, webinars, and other industry forums while contributing to thought leadership in corporate security, intelligence operations, AI, and security technology.
  • Help expand customer relationships by identifying additional use cases, deepening executive engagement, and delivering measurable business value.

Requirements

  • 12-15+ years of leadership experience in global security operations, corporate security, intelligence operations, enterprise risk management, or similar areas.
  • Demonstrated background in leading or transforming large, multi-region GSOC operations in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong familiarity with current security technologies such as case management systems, threat intelligence platforms, PSIM, access control, video management, incident management, GRC platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to build 24/7 operating models, develop SOPs, define KPIs, and establish executive reporting structures.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders including CSOs, CISOs, and other C-suite executives, with strong communication, presentation, and strategic consulting abilities.
  • Solid understanding of cyber-physical security convergence and collaboration across security, IT, legal, HR, compliance, and risk teams.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, security technology, or product advisory settings is strongly preferred; exposure to public sector or federal security work is an advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial builder mindset with excellent problem-solving, systems thinking, change management skills, executive presence, and a strong interest in modern security operations.

Benefits and compensation

  • Competitive compensation with on-target earnings starting at about $220,000, plus bonus potential.
  • Equity participation and a full 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Health Savings Account contribution.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Expanded parental leave.
  • Learning and professional development stipend.
  • Home office allowance, along with remote-work reimbursement for internet and mobile phone costs.
  • Quarterly wellness days and recognition programs that celebrate milestones and accomplishments.
  • Entirely remote role with collaboration across global teams.
