Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will shape and deliver property-level communication strategies that connect with guests and local audiences. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this position is responsible for strengthening the hotel’s brand presence through traditional, digital, and social media activity. The role supports direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels that improve awareness, drive preference, expand market share, and grow brand recognition across the portfolio. A key part of the job is promoting food and beverage offers to both hotel guests and local customers. This position also works closely with regional eCommerce and marketing teams to ensure local digital, social, and graphic design efforts support overall selling objectives. The scope of work includes marketing, communications, digital activity, eCommerce coordination, graphic design, and public relations, with performance judged by revenue impact, social engagement, and the quality of campaign execution.

What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver the annual marketing programme within budget, working with the GM, Food & Beverage leadership, Operations, Sales, and cluster marketing/eCommerce teams.
- Coordinate with Operations, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Sales teams to run promotions aimed at in-house guests and generate extra hotel revenue.
- Serve as the link between the marketing team and the advertising agency for creative and media planning, especially for food and beverage campaigns.
- Oversee F&B media schedules and ensure related accounts are settled on time.
- Work with Revenue Management to confirm offers are loaded correctly and audience targeting is accurate.
- Carry out email marketing and display advertising activities.
- Stay in regular contact with the Cluster eCommerce Manager to keep local and regional initiatives aligned and to track performance, opportunities, and issues.
- Ensure all hotel advertising in digital channels stays consistent with the brand voice.
- Drive social media engagement and keep hotel-owned local digital channels updated, including the website and travel platforms.
- Create and run digital and social promotions for F&B, weddings, spa, rooms, and conferences.
- Manage online reputation by identifying guest feedback on social channels and responding appropriately.
- Build a quarterly PR plan with the agency and execute it after GM approval.
- Maintain relationships and contact lists for local media, including food critics and bloggers.
- Handle assigned media accounts through the media account management system.
- Draft and distribute press releases for property events, promotions, and outlets.
- Coordinate hotel-sponsored events, community and government relations activities, and promotional press events.
- Support PR initiatives that generate strong media coverage and align with communication goals.
- Compile monthly news clipping and media mention reports for property distribution.
- Manage outside vendors and media agencies, and work with agency partners and the continent PR leader on media-buy decisions.
- Evaluate PR leads and identify the most effective media outlets to promote the hotel.
- Coordinate photography for F&B ads, collateral, and PR use with the hotel, agency, and regional field marketing teams.
- Organize photo shoots for seasonal and festive campaigns with the cluster or area marketing team.
- Act as the main contact for approved local photographers and ensure all imagery follows brand voice standards.
- Oversee graphic design and the production of hotel and F&B printed materials.
- Control the quantity and storage of marketing collateral and keep records organized.
- Support the creation of display materials and temporary signage for public areas in the hotel.
- Regularly collect competitor collateral and publicity for market intelligence.
- Manage F&B direct marketing activities.
- Ensure all collateral meets brand guidelines and Brand Standard Audit requirements.
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of wider communications work with special focus on property F&B promotions and campaigns.
- Assist with the hotel newsletter and other communication publications.
- Provide support for additional communications tasks as needed.
- Help organize and execute joint F&B promotions.
- Work with eCommerce teams to keep the hotel website and related sites updated.
- Partner with the Director of Marketing on a marketing plan aligned to sales and revenue objectives.
- Provide marketing leadership and act as a subject matter expert for GMs, Sales Leaders, Managers, and Revenue leaders.
- Coordinate with property and above-property eCommerce and Revenue teams to report marketing and eCommerce results.
- Monitor competitors and keep up with evolving advertising, collateral, and digital marketing trends.
Candidate Profile
- A 2-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or a related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience is preferred.
- Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or a related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience is preferred.
