About the Company
We are working with a fast-scaling omnichannel consumer brand operating in a tightly regulated space, and they are seeking a Director or Head of Marketing to guide the next stage of brand expansion and revenue growth.
About the Role
This role is suited to a marketing leader who can think strategically, use data to drive decisions, and still stay close to the work. The position combines high-level brand planning with day-to-day execution across direct-to-consumer and wholesale business channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and execute the full marketing roadmap spanning brand, growth, paid media, organic, CRM, and lifecycle initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and grow a compact in-house marketing team while coordinating external agency support to a high standard.
- Accelerate DTC performance by improving the website, strengthening email campaigns, driving customer acquisition, and increasing conversion rates.
- Work in partnership with Sales to create marketing programs that help expand wholesale and B2B revenue.
- Take ownership of marketing analytics, budget planning, forecasting, and return-on-investment tracking.
- Create repeatable marketing workflows and systems while preserving brand integrity and meeting compliance expectations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of advancing experience in marketing leadership.
- Proven success with DTC and omnichannel consumer brands.
- Experience leading both internal teams and outside agencies.
- Practical knowledge of Shopify, Klaviyo, analytics tools, and conversion rate optimization.
- Strong commercial and financial judgment, including ownership of marketing budgets and performance measurement.
- Prior exposure to a regulated sector such as cannabis, alcohol, tobacco, supplements, or a comparable industry is strongly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting where planning and execution happen together.
