About Eagle Creek

Eagle Creek has been crafting durable travel gear since 1975, upholding a commitment to quality with their No Matter What® Warranty and a strong focus on sustainability. They operate as a close-knit team where individual contributions are highly visible and impactful, fostering a dynamic environment free from excessive bureaucracy. The company culture values speed, dedication to product and planet, and a positive work atmosphere.

The Role

This Marketing Coordinator position is a pivotal execution role within the marketing and e-commerce department. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & E-commerce, you will collaborate with the E-commerce Manager, Brand Strategist, and Creative Content Manager to ensure the smooth operation of marketing campaigns, efficient asset management, and optimal channel performance. While this is a remote role, expect 2-4 in-person meetings annually in Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and launch email campaigns using Klaviyo, including formatting, linking, testing, and scheduling for promotional, lifecycle, and product launch needs.
  • Manage and refine audience segmentation, sending frequencies, and automated workflows to maintain strong deliverability and consistent performance.
  • Monitor and report on key email marketing metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, revenue per send, and unsubscribe rates, providing actionable insights to the team.
  • Adapt and prepare creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma for various channels, including resizing and retouching for email, website, and paid media requirements.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials while creating engaging content for campaigns, product launches, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Provide operational support for marketing and e-commerce projects to enhance team efficiency across all brand channels.
  • Coordinate the monthly delivery of creative assets, copy, and communications with external agencies managing paid advertising programs.
  • Support affiliate and influencer programs by managing product seeding, coordinating outreach, and overseeing review submission processes.
  • Assist in developing shot lists and arranging product shipments for photographers, videographers, and influencers.
  • Contribute to YouTube channel management by updating metadata, providing copy support, and coordinating publishing schedules.
  • Handle incoming requests for wholesale creative assets, managing intake, timelines, specifications, and approvals to ensure organized and timely cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building and deploying email campaigns, with a strong preference for Klaviyo proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop minimum) and/or Figma for asset adaptation and resizing.
  • Proficiency in digital asset management, including organizing, versioning, and preparing assets for different channel specifications.
  • Excellent written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in QAing links and copy before publication.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, small team environment, with the capacity to adapt to changing priorities and take initiative in ambiguous situations.
  • Must be located in California, Arizona, or Colorado, and willing to travel to Steamboat Springs or Denver up to 4 times per year.

Perks

  • Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 annually, dependent on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement plan with company matching contributions.
  • Generous Free Time Off (FTO) policy.

Additional Information

Preferred qualifications include graphic design skills for creating on-brand assets, experience with project management tools like Asana or Monday, familiarity with go-to-market planning and seasonal calendars for consumer goods, understanding of email performance metrics, exposure to affiliate/influencer program coordination, and a passion for travel, outdoor, or lifestyle brands.

The ideal candidate is someone who double-checks details, values ethical production, thrives on variety, can execute efficiently, and is proactive in problem-solving. Eagle Creek is open to candidates with 1-2 years of experience or those with more extensive management backgrounds looking to return to hands-on work.
