About the Role
We are seeking passionate individuals skilled in baking or with experience in professional kitchens to join us as Market Street Bakers. This is a fantastic chance to demonstrate your baking skills and become a vital face of our in-store fresh bakery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customers have confidence in the availability of fresh bakery items.
- Maintain visually appealing, fresh, and high-quality food displays throughout the day to encourage sales.
- Prepare bakery products including breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruit-related items by adhering to company specifications and using appropriate equipment such as provers, ovens, and mixers.
- Deliver warm, approachable, and helpful customer service, eliminating barriers and creating meaningful experiences while showcasing our traditional baking skills and fresh offerings.
About You
- Friendly and supportive nature with a passion for excellent customer service; enjoys interacting with customers and going beyond expectations.
- Energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced, varied environment.
- Capable of using initiative to assist and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
- Proficient in operating various bakery equipment while upholding stringent health and safety standards.
- Competent baker skills including mixing and shaping dough into various bakery products.
- Adaptable and willing to work across multiple fresh food counters to meet customer needs.
