About Once For All
Once For All is a rapidly expanding cloud-based SaaS company providing solutions that enable efficient management of supply chain governance, risk, and compliance. Serving over 250,000 clients across the UK spanning 20 sectors—including construction, transport, retail, hospitality, education, facility management, manufacturing, and government—the company supports both public and private sector customers.
Role Overview
We seek a confident, determined, and resilient Market Intelligence Insights Researcher to join our expanding team. This role is primarily telephone-driven, involving numerous outbound calls daily to professionals within the UK construction sector. Your main objective is to engage with busy decision-makers—such as Main Contractors, Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Buyers—to collect and confirm data regarding construction projects and tender opportunities. Each interaction contributes towards a more precise market understanding, providing critical intelligence to our clients. Success is built upon persistence, professionalism, and genuine rapport-building. As not all calls will yield the desired information, a positive mindset and resilience are essential.
Key Duties
- Conduct a high volume of outgoing calls to construction sector professionals.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with contacts across diverse industry levels.
- Investigate construction projects and validate tender details.
- Identify and corroborate the full list of contractors bidding on projects.
- Maintain and update accurate records within company systems.
- Manage workload independently by following up on leads until complete information is collected.
- Consistently provide outstanding customer service while representing the company professionally.
Candidate Profile
- Strong verbal communicator with an enjoyment for engaging conversations.
- Prior experience in customer service, telesales, call centers, or telephone-based roles.
- Excellent skills in active listening and effective questioning.
- Persistent mindset with determination to pursue leads beyond initial rejection.
- Ability to connect quickly and build rapport with individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and seniority.
- Meticulous attention to detail to gather precise information.
- Good organizational abilities and confidence navigating computer systems.
- Positive attitude with capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Required Skills
- Telephone confidence and professionalism.
- Strong administrative capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in sales or customer service roles.
Benefits Package
- Competitive salary of £27,000 per year.
- Wellness fund or private medical insurance, depending on the position.
- Pension scheme.
- Life assurance coverage.
- Annual leave entitlement of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
- Continual professional development opportunities.
- Holiday purchase option of up to 5 extra days.
- One paid and one unpaid volunteering day.
- Employee assistance program accessible 24/7 all year round.
- Company and team offsite events.
- Specsavers eye care vouchers.
- Free tea, coffee, and fresh fruit weekly at Basingstoke office.
