Job description
Role overview
This position sits within EGA’s Strategy team, which advises the Executive Committee and the Board on major strategic topics. The role supports decisions on investments and divestments, explores new opportunities across the value chain, and helps shape the company’s long-term direction.
The Manager will independently carry out analysis and discussions that support strategy definition and execution, lead selected workstreams and smaller projects, build financial models for project evaluation and valuation, and help drive strategic and value-capture initiatives with relevant business teams. - Support the formulation and rollout of strategic priorities, including the annual strategy planning cycle.
- Track KPIs and progress against targets across functions, and flag gaps early so corrective actions can be taken on time.
- Prepare reports and communication materials that present KPI results, key findings, and overall performance trends for management.
- Design and drive performance-improvement initiatives, including operational enhancements and OPEX/CAPEX reduction efforts, with the right functions engaged for execution.
- Interpret data from multiple workstreams and convert it into clear recommendations, practical solutions, and strong business cases for new strategic initiatives.
- Deliver initiatives across business areas that create measurable bottom-line impact, including revenue uplift and cost reduction opportunities.
- Assess ad hoc requests from different stakeholders to determine whether they are commercially attractive and aligned with EGA’s strategy.
- Collect, organize, analyze, and present data and insights to support recommendations on ad hoc opportunities.
- Coach and mentor up to two analysts, helping transfer knowledge and build long-term capability.
- Lead a cross-functional team within a specific workstream and own delivery to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Coordinate the implementation of selected strategic initiatives and make recommendations or decisions within the assigned scope.
- Maintain timely and structured communication with the Senior Manager, Strategy and Corporate Development on material and strategic matters.
Qualifications and experience
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or a closely related field.
