Role Overview
This position is accountable for executing sales plans to meet order booking and revenue targets by sustaining and enlarging the customer base. The manager will oversee the entire sales cycle from initial client meetings to delivering formal proposals and ensuring order completion. This operational role directly influences results within the designated account and business area.
Responsibilities
- Achieving revenue goals and cultivating pipeline expansion.
- Enhancing existing customer relationships through tailored offers.
- Identifying customer needs and potential sales opportunities.
- Understanding client requirements and expectations thoroughly.
- Participating in and delivering presentations at client and internal company meetings to support business growth.
- Managing account action plans for assigned clients or regions.
- Responding promptly to sales inquiries and following up effectively.
- Monitoring customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to provide insightful reports.
- Logging qualified opportunities and building robust sales pipelines using Salesforce (SFDC).
- Collaborating internally across sales, legal, commercial, solution, and product teams to resolve issues and prioritize key opportunities for faster deal closure.
- Keeping current with product knowledge and competitor landscape.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
- 3 to 7 years of proven enterprise sales or account management experience.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) for managing pipelines and sales funnel.
- Strong experience in account management and sales processes.
- Ability to craft and deliver compelling business and technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Expertise in gathering and analyzing customer business requirements.
