Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned strategic sales professional to lead and expand one of our premier global banking partnerships. This position, stationed in Singapore, focuses on elevating executive engagements, spearheading strategic account growth, managing major transformation initiatives, and nurturing long-term alliances across network, cloud, security, digital infrastructure, and managed services domains.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive and enhance strategic relationships with the global banking client.
  • Establish trusted partnerships with executives in technology, infrastructure, operations, sourcing, and business units.
  • Lead major transformation projects including network transformation, cloud connectivity, security, managed services, digital infrastructure, colocation, and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Manage complex multinational deals and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop and implement account strategies, growth forecasting, pipeline management, and routine executive engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams, solution architects, product managers, commercial teams, and partners.
  • Focus on long-term strategic positioning beyond straightforward sales transactions.
  • Maintain robust governance on forecasting, deal progress, and client satisfaction metrics.

Candidate Profile and Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years in enterprise or BFSI sales.
  • At least 5 to 6 years working directly with banking clients over the past decade.
  • Strong experience with global banking customers in the APAC region.
  • Proven capability managing significant strategic accounts with multi-million dollar total contract value.
  • Background in telecom, managed services, OEM, cloud, or digital infrastructure sectors.

Preferred Background and Skills

  • Prior experience with global telecom/service providers, system integrators, cloud, network, or security firms is highly desirable.
  • Experience with OEMs possessing a substantial BFSI footprint is less critical but valued.
  • Proficient in executive stakeholder management, strategic account planning, and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Skilled in managing multi-country deals and understanding managed services and digital infrastructure.
  • Knowledgeable about BFSI regulatory and operational frameworks.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills at the executive level.
