Position Location
The role is based at Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities
- Protect hotel assets, including property, parking areas, information, documentation, materials, buildings, and equipment from unauthorized access, theft, or sabotage.
- Develop and maintain a formal training plan for security personnel, including documenting training and certifications under the guidance of the Property Loss Prevention and Security department.
- Respond to and assist corporate security, employees, visitors, and emergency responders in security and safety matters, applying sound judgment in compliance with policies.
- Follow instructions from the Corporate Office of Property Loss Prevention as detailed in special orders and procedures.
- Collaborate with security and law enforcement in handling crime scenes, preserving evidence, and conducting inquiries related to losses, thefts, employee misconduct, and security incidents; document participation and report to supervisors.
- Support special events and festivals organized by the property.
- Monitor and respond promptly to all alarm conditions, including security alarms, intrusion detection, gas leaks, fire systems, and HVAC systems; report abnormalities and initiate repairs through appropriate channels.
- Supervise CCTV surveillance, inspect video monitors systematically, and report any deficiencies.
- Manage access control by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and controlling entry and exit points; enforce gate pass regulations related to removal of property and documents.
- Conduct variable routine and random patrols across different property zones, including perimeter patrols using guard tour systems, while adhering to safety rules and driving protocols within the site.
- Inspect buildings and facilities post-closing to ensure security by verifying doors are locked and secure.
- Deter and identify unauthorized access to restricted areas through CCTV monitoring and patrols, sometimes requiring multiple security officers, especially during nighttime hours.
- Manage visitor passes and verify identification as per management instructions.
- Monitor delivery vehicles for proper identification and supervise ingress of suppliers.
- Take immediate action and report to supervisors any suspicious activity or misconduct witnessed during patrols; stop contractors without permits and report accordingly.
- Provide traffic, parking, and pedestrian control services upon request.
- Implement vehicle and item searches when threat level is elevated to RED, following standardized procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in parking areas, maximizing space use and preventing vehicle damage and theft.
- Escort guests to vehicles for safety when requested.
Qualifications
- Possess a pleasant personality.
- Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written.
- Between 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in loss prevention or security roles.
