Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Logistics & Supply Chain Management Expert to collaborate remotely on a project aimed at enhancing supply chain processes and documentation. This contractor role involves leveraging your extensive domain expertise to aid in the training of advanced AI systems through the provision of high-quality, real-world supply chain data and insights. Prior experience with AI is not necessary; your professional knowledge in global logistics is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review and analyze logistics documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers to verify authenticity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Create and annotate exemplary sample documents that demonstrate best practices within logistics and supply chain management.
- Assess existing supply chain workflows and recommend actionable improvements grounded in practical experience.
- Provide detailed, clear feedback on logistics scenarios emphasizing documentation structure and process optimization.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to refine requirements and communicate complex logistics concepts effectively.
- Engage in quality assurance activities by validating the accuracy and relevance of supply chain datasets.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and resources that reflect industry standards and address nuanced supply chain challenges.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years’ direct experience in logistics and supply chain management, focusing on key documents like packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registers.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics workflows, global supply chain operations, and documentation standards.
- Strong command of English to convey technical logistics concepts with clarity.
- Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and crafting supply chain documentation.
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
- A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related disciplines is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, ensuring deliverables meet quality and deadline expectations.
