About the Role

STI-TEC is a growing provider of business and information management solutions, supporting government and commercial clients with services that help improve how organizations manage and distribute their most important resource: information. This position supports the United States Coast Guard, specifically CG-AIR, including the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Aviation Projects Acquisition Center (APAC), and the Office of Aeronautical Engineering (CG-AIR-E).

Key Responsibilities

  • Take part in daily and weekly coordination meetings, including Theory of Constraints, Issue Resolution, Full Kit, and Industrial Team sessions, and flag any supply or kitting issues that could affect the PDM production schedule.
  • Track logistics performance with customers and compare results against agreed targets, benchmarks, and service levels.
  • Work across departments to satisfy customer needs while limiting disruptions to the Product Line and Air Stations.
  • Assess material, supply, and finished-goods availability and distribution to improve value and control costs.
  • Develop and preserve strong working relationships with key stakeholders involved in logistics operations.
  • Prepare and deliver solutions to customers, leaders, or other stakeholders through written briefs and oral presentations.
  • Stay current on logistics tools and methods, then apply improvements to existing processes.
  • Estimate the quantities, costs, resources, and materials required for full PDM kitting.
  • Confirm that equipment and materials are received correctly.
  • Spot inventory mismatches and make the needed kit corrections.
  • Report full kit plans, progress updates, and any delays.
  • Monitor incoming parts and supplies while checking that all identifying documentation is correct.
  • Maintain kit inventory records in Concerto and across cabinets and inventory control points.
  • Perform quarterly kit inspections to verify correct identification of items such as aircraft-specific parts, supply candidates, hangar deck items, supply items, and Auto 6000.
  • Carry out daily upkeep of two-bin inventory systems.
  • Maintain and update the tag bible for routed assets.
  • Answer questions related to kit status.
  • Escalate back orders or kitting delays to management and other relevant personnel.
  • Create training materials and process documentation for full kit procedures and conduct internal audits.
  • Safeguard proprietary materials managed at CG-AIR.
  • Support monthly updates to technical manuals (ATIP).

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension, are necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
  • Basic arithmetic knowledge is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is needed.
  • Ability to handle several tasks with competing deadlines is required.
  • Must be able to work with limited government oversight.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 10 years of supply or logistics experience in civilian or military settings is required.
  • Selected applicants may need to pass a U.S. Government security investigation and meet access requirements for classified information.
  • This opportunity is subject to award of the contract and the final role, compensation, duties, and benefits may change based on contract terms.

Preferred Experience

  • Intermediate experience with ALMIS is preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with AMMIS is preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with the Concerto Critical Chain Project Management tool is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Theory of Constraints concepts in Concerto is preferred.
  • One year of experience with USCG procedures is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ALMIS is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AMMIS is preferred.
