Job description
Role Overview
A family in Dubai is seeking an experienced live-in nanny/housekeeper to join their household for the long term. The ideal candidate is especially preferred to be from the Philippines and should be someone who truly enjoys working with children, brings warmth and patience, and can help maintain a safe, cheerful, and orderly home.
Childcare Duties
- Provide attentive care for a 3-year-old daughter.
- Support early learning with reading, educational activities, arts and crafts, and imaginative play.
- Help strengthen her language ability, self-confidence, independence, and social development.
- Teach and reinforce good manners, kindness, respect, sharing, and positive behaviour.
- Assist with her everyday routine, including meals, hygiene, and bedtime.
Newborn Care Duties
- Support care for newborn twin girls.
- Prepare bottles and assist with feeding.
- Handle diaper changes, bathing, dressing, and soothing.
- Help establish healthy sleep patterns.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene for both the babies and the nursery.
- Work alongside the parents to ensure excellent care at all times.
Household Duties
- Keep the home clean, neat, and well organised.
- Take care of laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen.
- Arrange children’s toys, bedrooms, and play spaces.
- Prepare simple meals when needed.
Candidate Profile
The family is looking for someone with proven experience caring for toddlers and newborns, along with a real interest in child development and early education. Strong spoken English is important, and the right person should be caring, honest, trustworthy, and highly organised. Infant CPR or First Aid certification is preferred, though it is not compulsory.
