Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Personal Assistant to support a busy family located in Queen Anne, Seattle. The role involves creating and maintaining organizational systems and managing household activities, allowing the family to devote more time to their careers and children. The ideal candidate will enjoy cooking, possess excellent organizational skills, be proactive, and have an affinity for dogs.
Work Schedule and Compensation
This is a part-time role requiring 15 hours weekly, scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The compensation ranges from $28 to $31 per hour, depending on experience. The position is on-site, requiring candidates to reside in the greater Seattle region. Immediate start is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, plan, and cook meals.
- Develop and oversee home organization and systems.
- Manage laundry tasks.
- Perform household chores such as resetting daily household items, light cleaning, washing dishes, and taking out garbage.
- Run errands including grocery pickups, dry cleaning, and returns.
- Assist with special projects and vendor coordination.
- Track and execute home maintenance tasks diligently.
- Provide care for dogs.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be able to lift weights up to 35 pounds.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.
- Comfortable and familiar with dogs.
- Experience in household management with a genuine passion for service.
- Self-motivated with the ability to anticipate client needs without supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and efficient in task execution.
- Keen attention to detail and trustworthy with client privacy.
- Comfortable collaborating with individuals with disabilities.
