Job description
Overview
LandSea is hiring a Laundry Attendant in Squamish, British Columbia. This is a full-time, on-site role, meaning all work must be done at the physical workplace with no remote option.

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Experience
Applicants should have 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment
The role is based in a setting that may involve noise, odours, and wet or damp conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Run washing, drying, dry-cleaning, and blow-drying equipment.
- Measure and combine detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other cleaning agents as needed.
- Fold shirts, sheets, and similar items by hand and prepare them for bagging.
- Use finishing tools such as steam presses and hand irons to complete pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other cleaned garments.
- Sort, assemble, and package completed articles.
- Inspect finished items to confirm they meet the establishment’s quality standards.
- Document any damage or improper cleaning/laundering of articles.
- Touch up garments and other items using a handheld steam iron.
- Assist customers by providing service and support.
Experience and Specialization
Prior experience in general dry cleaning is expected.
Familiarity with dry-cleaning machines, steam press equipment, and washing machines is required.
Additional Information
A criminal record check is required for security and safety purposes.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
This position calls for strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment. The work involves hand-eye coordination, lifting and handling heavy loads, managing a large volume of tasks, performing repetitive duties, standing for long periods, and working under pressure.
Weight handling may be required up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
