Kitchen Porter

Overview

Lodestone House is seeking a committed Kitchen Porter to join the team on a full-time basis, supporting operations at Chartwells. This role involves working 40 hours per week, typically over 5 days out of 7, with the position contracted for 41.6 weeks annually. Primary Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the lobby and public spaces.
• Supporting housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams by setting up rooms and moving furniture as needed.
• Assisting with reception duties such as booking theatre tickets and making restaurant reservations.
• Attending to customer requests promptly and efficiently.
• Running errands when required.
• Ensuring customer safety by placing and removing signage indicating hazards like wet floors or painted surfaces.
